At Snake River Skydiving, we offer Tandem and IAD methods for first time jumps.
A tandem skydive is where you are physically attached
to an instructor at 4 points by a harness. It exposes first-time jumpers
to the skydiving routine with minimal expectations from the student.
Because of the tandem harness setup, you will need only a brief amount
of training before making your first skydive.
IAD stands for Instructor Assisted Deployment. With the training method you will
attend a ground school during the morning and then make your first parachute jump
solo from 4,000ft! You will direct yourself to the landing area and land on your own.
After focusing on canopy skills, the IAD method progresses up through freefall and
culminates with the acheivement of your USPA A-License.
You will need to arrive early enough to fill out waivers, watch a video, and account for
weather changes through out the day. After your skydive, plan to stick
around and hang out with the staff and other jumpers!

Take your experience home to your family and friends for only another $119. A
professional freefall photographer will skydive in front of you with
video and still cameras. You will leave with a roll of negatives and
a professionally dubbed DVD video of your jump!
